DARYL

BASS / VOCALS

Born in Hamilton, Ontario and rooted in Calgary’s vibrant music scene, Daryl “Li’l D” brings a unique blend of funk and punk sensibilities to the low end. Coming from a musical background of family and close-knit friends, he’s largely self-taught, driven by a life long obsession to listen, learn, and inspire.
With a career spanning studio sessions and tours alongside a variety of artists, Daryl’s approach has matured into one simple philosophy: let the music breathe. Lock in with the kick drum, serve the song, and groove with intention. To him, good tone comes from within—a balance of feel and technique, not a flurry of notes.
He lives by the rule: "Listen to your heroes, then listen to theirs." With any luck, pass that inspiration along to the next generation.
